Nearly four years ago I started this little photography business honestly as a way to pay off my student loans faster and get out from behind the computer as a graphic designer. I taught myself through courses and mentorships to get where I am today and truly believe hands-on experience and in-person conversations are the only real way to get you to the place you want to be.

What started out as a side hustle to earn some extra cash has turned into a full-time job that gives me the flexibility to raise my son, take vacations, and invest in my future. I owe everything I am to the education and encouragement I received from everyone along the way as well as some of the world’s best clients to keep my dream going.

Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to get some serious insight into your settings in different scenarios, we’ll run through all the basics as well as answer any questions you bring with you.

You’ll also be sent home with a cheatsheet for reference.

posing

Posing is one of the hardest and often most nerve-wracking parts about being a photographer. I’ll teach you the 10 basic poses that I use in every session as well as how to make you AND your clients more comfortable.

We’ll practice shooting with a real couple.

With the completion of part 01 of the day, I have full confidence that you’ll be able to not only rock your next shoot with crystal clear images but also be able to capture those dreamy moments for your clients.

I’ll take you behind the scenes of my company and show you the exact systems I use to stay responsive and organized for my clients while delivering killer images.

We’ll go over everything from posting to social media to client inquiry through editing and gallery delivery.

I’ll also critique your portfolio, website, and social media to help you build a plan of attack to improve and land your dream clients.
